Why every site in the collection is sold once.
A template is sold a thousand times. Each site in our collection is built on our own brief, sold to one business, then retired.

A template is a reasonable idea. Someone designs a site once, sells it a thousand times, and every buyer gets a finished design for less than it cost to make. The trouble is the thousand. The look you bought is the look your competitor can buy tomorrow — and your visitors may have seen it before they ever saw you.
Interchangeable is expensive
The half second is a comparison. A visitor judging your site is measuring it, without meaning to, against every site they’ve seen in your category. A layout they already know doesn’t register as careless. It doesn’t register at all. And a business that can’t be told apart from the next one is chosen on price, if it’s chosen.
What the collection is
Each site in the collection is designed once, on our own brief, to the standard we hold custom work to: a real sector, real pages, real motion — the spec is written beside each one. It isn’t a theme with placeholder text. It’s a finished site, waiting for the business it suits.
When a business claims one, we adapt it to the brand — colour, words, content — and it goes live in 2 to 3 weeks. Then it leaves the collection. Nobody else can claim it, and we don’t make it again.
Adapted, not recoloured
Adapting means more than swapping a logo and a palette. The words are rewritten for your business by the people who wrote the originals. Photographs and footage are swapped for yours, where you have them. Type and colour are tuned to your brand. What stays is what you chose it for: the structure, the pacing, the motion — the parts that make it hard to forget.
Why we make them at all
Two reasons. The first is proof: the collection is the work, done unassisted, where you can judge us the way your visitors will judge you — in half a second. The second is a shorter path for the businesses that want one. Claiming a site skips the weeks of exploration a custom project needs and starts at the build.
Most of our work is still custom, designed from zero for one business. The collection is the standard that work is held to.
Each one exists exactly once.
